Privacy Policy

This site is run by Mr.ChanChan, a freelance web developer. This policy explains what I collect and why.

What I collect

• Free-preview form: your business name, city and email, so I can find your business on Google, build your preview site and email it to you. Your browser language and approximate country (from your IP address) are stored with it.
• AI assistant: the messages you type. They are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a reply and may be logged to improve answers. Don't share passwords or payment details in the chat.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card number.
• Where you came from: a first-party cookie (mc_attr, 90 days) remembers the ad or link that brought you here (UTM tags, Facebook click id), so I know which ads work.
• Meta (Facebook) pixel: on the main pages only, I use Meta's pixel and Conversions API to measure ads. When you request a preview or subscribe, Meta receives that event with a one-way hashed copy of your email, your IP address and browser details. Meta may use cookies (_fbp, _fbc). You can block these with your browser or ad settings. Preview and customer websites never carry my pixel.

How I use it

To reply to you, build and run your website, bill you, and improve this site. I don't sell your data or share it with anyone except the services needed to operate (hosting, email delivery, payments, AI API, Google Places for business details, and Meta for ad measurement).

Client websites

Websites I build for clients have their own privacy practices. Data submitted on a client's site (reservations, feedback, orders) belongs to that client.
