Terms of Service

These are the plain-English terms for websites sold on mrchanchan.com.

How it works

• I build a preview of your website first, at no cost. You are under no obligation to buy it.
• If you want to keep it, you subscribe for $38 USD per month. There is no setup fee.
• The monthly fee covers the website, a standard domain, hosting, SSL, backups, software updates and small content changes (text, photos, hours, prices — usually done within 2 business days).
• Larger new features are quoted and agreed in writing before work starts.

Cancellation

• There is no contract. You can cancel at any time. Service continues to the end of the paid month and you are not charged again.
• On cancellation, your domain is transferred to you and site files are provided on request.
• If you never subscribe, the preview is simply taken down. You owe nothing.

Showing your site

Once you are a paying customer, your live site may appear as an example on mrchanchan.com. Ask and I'll take it off.

Ownership

The domain is registered in your business's name. Content you provide remains yours. Design and code are licensed to you for your business's use for as long as you like.

Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the right to use the content, images and brand you provide. You are responsible for what is published on your site and for complying with laws that apply to your business.

Limits

I'll do everything reasonable to keep your site online and working. I'm not liable for lost business from downtime, third-party outages (hosting, payment or booking providers) or issues caused by content you supply. Liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 3 months.
