Terms of Service

These are the plain-English terms for website packages sold on mrchanchan.com.

What you buy

• A one-time setup fee covers design and build of your website per the package you choose.
• A monthly fee covers domain renewal, hosting, SSL, backups, software updates and small content changes.
• Larger features beyond your package are quoted and agreed in writing before work starts.

Timeline

Most Landing and Essential sites launch within about a week of receiving your content (logo, photos, text, hours). Custom builds usually take two to three weeks. Delays in providing content extend the timeline.

Guarantee and cancellation

• If you are not happy within 7 days of launch, the setup fee is refunded in full.
• You can cancel the monthly plan at any time. Service continues to the end of the paid period.
• On cancellation, your domain is transferred to you and site files are provided on request.

Ownership

The domain is registered in your business's name. Content you provide remains yours. Design and code are licensed to you for your business's use for as long as you like.

Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the right to use the content, images and brand you provide. You are responsible for what is published on your site and for complying with laws that apply to your business.

Limits

I'll do everything reasonable to keep your site online and working. I'm not liable for lost business from downtime, third-party outages (hosting, payment or booking providers) or issues caused by content you supply. Liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 3 months.
